The basement isn't actually any busier or more crowded than it would be on most days. It just sort of... seems that way. Maybe it's because instead of just hanging around passing the time, there's a sort of sense of urgency to several of the people in various places around the basement.

Morona is, as promised, at Sgt. Angel's office, and she is very nervous. She is, after all, about to knowingly give herself a vision of a corpse's last moments. Those visions are never pleasant.

She knocks quietly on Sgt. Angel's door, biting her lip anxiously.

This is certainly going to be a trying experience.

12:23 am. Twenty-three minutes into the day.

Police NoticeLast night Chicago authorities recovered most of a body and a metal contraption from Lake Michigan. It had been mutilated and partially dismembered and did not appear to conform to human anatomy. We believe the metal was some form of gear or armor.
